Ingredients:
- 4 lb pork shoulder
- 2 Tbsp paprika
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper, more or less to taste
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder (or less, to taste)
- 1 tsp kosher salt (smoked, if possible)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup water (maybe less?)
Instructions:
Mix together all the dried spices & rub into all sides of the pork.
Place vinegar & water in bottom of slow cooker.
Carefully add pork (so you don’t wash off spices).
Cover & cook on low for at least 8 hrs.
Remove pork & shred (remove & discard any large fatty pieces).
Add juices from slow cooker, as desired.
Serve on buns with BBQ sauce.
