INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds (opt)
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger, grated
- * 1/4 cup cold water
- * 1 Tbsp cornstarch
Stir soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, brown sugar, sesame seeds, garlic & ginger in a small saucepan over med heat. Whisk cornstarch into water in a bowl; add to soy sauce mixture. Cook sauce, stirring regularly, at a simmer until thickened 5 to 7 minutes.
*If using as a marinade, leave water & cornstarch out.
