While the rice is warm, mix in the dressing. Place rice mixture in a bowl lined with lettuce. Garnish with peeled, quartered tomatoes.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>* French Dressing\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"color: #333333; font-weight: 300;\">(makes about 1\/2 cup)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/4 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 Tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 Tbsp vinegar or lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp dry mustard (opt)<\/li>\n<li>pinch of nutmeg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Beat these ingredients well with a wire wisk or fork until they are smooth.<br \/>\nAdd and beat well:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 Tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Add and beat well again:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 Tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 Tbsp vinegar or lemon juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Peel and add:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 garlic clove<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Place the dressing in a jar and put in a cold place until ready to use.
