Saute until onions are golden brown, about 10 min.<br \/>\nAdd garlic, stir 1 minute.<br \/>\nStir in cumin, about 30 seconds.<br \/>\nAdd the broth &amp; barley. Bring to boil.<br \/>\nReduce heat, partially cover &amp; simmer 25 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Stir in lentils &amp; canned tomatoes, with juice.<br \/>\nCover, simmer until barley &amp; lentils are tender, about 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Add chard to soup, cover and simmer until chard is tender, about 5 minutes.<br \/>\nStir in dill.
