

{"id":1974,"date":"2014-09-30T19:40:16","date_gmt":"2014-09-30T19:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maggfarm.com\/?page_id=1974"},"modified":"2020-01-12T03:02:23","modified_gmt":"2020-01-12T03:02:23","slug":"asian-salmon-rice-soup","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/maggfarm.com\/?page_id=1974","title":{"rendered":"Asian Salmon &amp; Rice Soup"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"print-this-button-shell\">\n<button type=\"button\" class=\"print-this-button\" onClick=\"parent.location='http:\/\/maggfarm.com\/?page_id=1974&printthis=1&printsect=1'\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<img src=\"http:\/\/maggfarm.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wordpress-print-this-section\/images\/print2.gif\" \/> &nbsp; Print This!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/button>\n<\/div>\n<!-- Print This Section 1 Start -->\n<div class=\"print-this-content\"><\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>* 3\/4 cup long-grain rice\n<li>1 &amp; 1\/2 lb salmon fillet, skin removed, fish cut into 8 pieces\n<li>2 Tbsp (low sodium) soy sauce\n<li> 1 Tbsp Asian (toasted) sesame oil\n<li>10 cilantro stems, chopped\n<li>1 cup cilantro leaves (for garnish)\n<li>1 &amp; 1\/2 Tbsp minced fresh ginger\n<li>1 tsp salt\n<li>2 cups chicken\/vegetable broth, or homemade stock\n<li>4 cups water\n<li>3 scallions, including green tops, chopped\n<li>Hoisin Sauce, to taste (opt)\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Substitute noodles for rice<br \/>\n<sp><br \/>\nDIRECTIONS:<br \/>\n<sp><br \/>\nBring medium pot of salted water to a boil.<br \/>\nStir in the rice and boil until almost tender, about 10 min.<br \/>\nDrain.<br \/>\nCoat the salmon with soy sauce &amp; sesame oil.<br \/>\nIn a large pot, combine cooked rice, cilantro stems, ginger, salt, broth &amp; water.<br \/>\nBring to a boil.<br \/>\nReduce heat &amp; simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, for 15 min.<br \/>\nAdd salmon to the pot.
