Remove from heat.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 egg plus 1 yolk<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp vanilla or almond extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Stir into chocolate mixture; blend well.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 &amp; 1\/3 cups unbleached or all purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup finely chopped nuts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Gradually stir in flour and nuts until well combined.<\/p>\n<p>Shape dough into 3\/4 inch balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet about 1-inch apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 12 minutes until firm to the touch (do not overbake). Immediately remover from cookie sheet, cool<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 oz (1 square) unsweetened chocolate<\/li>\n<li>1 Tbsp butter or margarine<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp vanilla or almond extract<\/li>\n<li>1 cup powdered sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 to 3 Tbsp milk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In same saucepan, melt chocolate and butter. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients; blend well. Dip tops of cookies into glaze to cover.
